A Simple Moment
The sun lights the snow on the hill
Shining between trees, shadows still
The birds left footprints at the seed
After the storm, where they did feed
A distant chime rings, in a slight breeze
In the cold air where ice did freeze
With this quietness, there is peace
As the sunset light does increase
Sit with my words to feel it too
For now, it may carry you through
Challenging times, we all do meet
--A simple moment can defeat--
