A leprechaun grants me three wishes—it’s my lucky day!
But for my ex he’ll double each gift--much to my dismay! 
Not at all deterred
And for the last and third
I say beat me to death just half way

Then for a mansion on hill, but the ex gets one twice as high up and twice the square feet. BTW, I don't have an ex. I am going on 38 years right now. Married to the best girl ever. However, it seemed funnier that way. Poetic license sometimes conveys the wrong impression. You have made me smile double time, my friend and I know you will many times more!!
