A Sea of Dreams

in the ocean of endless dreams my mind silently drifts along, your name whispered on the winds of breathless sighs as i reach out for your touch through the tides of my thoughts that rise inside of these endless dreams! Sometimes i think the span between us is far greater than the distance between the horizon and sea as i write your name carefully upon my heart and watch as it is carried back out in the breaks of day then tossed within the waves of thoughts that keep bringing you back from where you are into the arms of me

Hearts are hard to make in concrete they set up to fast, lol This was great my friend!! well done!! oops I just read the form is shape not concrete, lol

thank you my friend, it was a difficult task and the whole poem changed in wording as i went along 3 times...it started out sad, ended up on a different theme but it worked out :) hugs

thanks Andrea, it started out as a sad poem with a different train of thought and when i tried to bring it to submission form here it wouldn't go back into shape so i kept playing with it, next thing you know i had a whole different poem... hugs :)
