A Sandwich For Sam
Second grade, Sam, going to school.
White shirt, navy blue pants,to learn
the Bible and the Golden Rule.
The children hoist the great American flag
at the beginning of each day.
The tall trees and church steeple smiled
that morning in May.
Inside his Spider Man lunch box which he so
cherishes, his prize.
His peanut butter and jelly sandwich,
which brings stars to his eyes!
