A Salute To My Cousin Loni

Bright as the first, star that twinkles each night.
Like your Mother, Helen, you are committed to make this nation right!

You work hard at polls, for years, to see that everyone stays free…..
All colors, nationalities, you are not just a mouthpiece for “equity!”

Loni~ so proud to have a spiritual, patriotic Cousin like you.
You love people of all religions……be they a Christian or a Jew!

Kindness, grace and humility are your daily American fare.
Never looking for free food or free phones. for the government to spare.

God and your large family, form the center of your humble life.
Keeping you free from self-pity, selfishness or daily strife.

Blessd to be your…….
Cousin Pangie

11/17/2022 Bill, another late reply. Apologies, dear friend.i am not here at PS to collect trophies. For me that is no win. To write from my heart, honestly is where the true gold is. Intellectualism is a cold place for me. Human relations count most. Best, Pangie

Yes, Prince. Her Dad was from Italy, and a great cook and wine maker and great husband. Everyone liked him! He lived for others, not himself, till the day he died. He was Elena’s godfather. And danced the Viennese Waltz with me when I was a debutante. I miss him. He raised two outstanding daughters.Loni has much to be proud of, but looks for no credit! Pangie. Thanks…..
