A Rope So Long Battle of Drugs
At the end of a rope I cling,
not knowing where I am.
Voices in my ears ring,
saying climb up you can.
God's providing me with will,
to achieve my destiny.
Strength I'll use, not be still,
the light I soon will see.
So much love that awaits,
I here them calling me.
No matter how much time it takes,
I'll be there my family.
So much I have, still so say,
others have less than I.
I need to see just what I have,
and thank God, not wonder why.
Focus I must do on our lives,
my family and me.
For each other we provide,
in ways we need to see.
Allow not the devil to stay,
stronger I am than he.
I'll take my stand, find the way,
my life again will be free.
"Stay together, listen, go slow, Be Strong!"
