A Right Old Medley

There once was an old, craggy witch Bad eyesight she had with a twitch She flew off one night Couldn’t see with no light And crash - landed into a ditch There once was a silly young ghost Who thought a party he would host Halloween Eve ‘‘twas the night Thought he’d give all a fright Screeching ‘Ghostbusters’ the most! It was the night of the living dead When they rose from an earthly bed They thought it a scream To all dress in green And one even carried their head! In collaboration with my beautiful twin xx A very happy Halloween to all my lovely, poetic friends who celebrate it! Also to my beautiful, best friend. Xx ;)

Dear Andrea, thank you so much for your visit. You did leave a much appreciated comment earlier thank you but it’s lovely to have you back! :):) My twin prefers reading to writing so she’s not here on Soup. However, she does enjoy humorous writing (poetry) and I’m encouraging her to come on here to read some of the many truly wonderful poems. Thank you so much again. I’ll be back to visit you again shortly for more inspiration. Hugs to you xx

Your rhymes are so catchy and the way you’ve written is so mellifluous! Im not so good with limericks but i love reading them and reading this was truly a pleasure especially “ There once was an old, craggy witch.. Bad eyesight she had with a twitch” that made me smile! And also the ghost one is so good! Very creative! And brilliant! Enjoyed reading

Hello dear Inky. What a lovely visit from you. Thank you so much as always sweet one for your truly uplifting comments and support. I found them fun to write but did get stuck on one line with the third one and my dear twin had an input! A little more tricky than I thought for my first ever attempt at the limerick form but am so thrilled at your valued response so there may be more ahead … Bless you Inky. Hope you’re having a lovely weekend. Love and hugs to you. Xx
