A Quiet Sanctuary
The night, a peace, a fountain, a temporary sanctuary
In spite of pulsating electric lights, sad and the unwary.
Whispers disappear drying in calmness to wait, in the quiet;
For in the sound of its own stillness without mental disquiet.
Entranced by ephemeral solace when nectar pours in your warm
Hands carried in the dark crimson shadow and the breath of your storm.
