A Promise

This is what I need and I hope you can provide. If you feel you fit the part sign on the dotted line. Promise to tell me all of you the good & bad the happy & the sad. Promise to be honest no matter the consequence. Promise to never change the way you are with me. Promise to always be faithful, truthful, honest, grateful, sweet loving & kind. Promise to always keep your word and never lead me blind. Promise you will hold me each & every night, even if we've argued you'd hold me lovingly that night. Promise to always be my friend, the one that always makes me smile. Promise to be my strength, my weakens, my guide. Promise that when things go wrong you wont run and hide. Promise to fill my dreams & aspirations. Promise me a date & keep to your word ... Rain, sleet nor thunderstorm will stop you from filling your promise. Promise to always be there when I'm sick, lost and afraid. Promise that being with me will never cause you shame. Promise that I'll be your world, in a place where no one else can touch no reason to look around for I make you complete. Promise not to break my heart into a thousand pieces, braking my will & still stomping on me, forgetting who I am & still hurting me.. Please don't lead me into depression, desperation,& confusion. Promise me a simple world and hand it to me, give me all your attention, not as if it were a chore. Don't play with my heart but stimulate my thoughts. Look with me into the horizon & find the beauty in the sky. Promise me forever & with everyday there is no dought in my mind, no reason to second guess, you make me feel divine. And to you I profess every promise you address will be given freely and lovingly in return. For no candle is lit alone it takes the match to light it and keep the flame going. Simple things that keep love strong & forever flourishing.
