A Prayer For You

When I think of all the bad times you helped me through I only wish now I could do the same for you I know you’re going through a troublesome time And feel like you’re in a real tight bind And since I can’t help in any other way Please listen to this prayer for you I say Please God, hear me as I pray Please God, listen to what I say They have been through a lot in the past years They have toughened out a lot of their fears They are good people who deserve the best I think they have conquered the unbearable test Please God, I love my parents deeply but that isn’t enough They need your loving hands while times are tough So please God, I pray to you To do what is all in your power to do Grant them with health and happiness To put all their worries to a rest I know need a lot right now while times are bad But please know how much I love you mom and dad
