A Politician to a Clergyman

Reverend, given the moral climate of the House and of the Senate, would you kindly keep your invocation free of innuendo and provocation, and, please, insinuate nothing that might cast others in a less than righteous light. No politician wants to lose his job, a fate worse than the wrath of God.

Love this Maurice as always full of truth and humor only you can share such events that take place with your twist of truth like this Clergyman. Bravo...

A very "politically correct" read, M...and also very funny. Merry Christmas.

History, sadly, is replete with men of the cloth who, like many a moth, drew too close to a flame that cost their lives! Thanks for the stop by. / Maurice
