A Place In the Sun
Down a river, low the breath sighs
though sunshine plays in tide’s ballet
a blaze aglow like morning paint
with heaven’s glint, its twirling sway.
Wings of dove flutter through daybreak
along crests , hands fold in prayer…
then in full zest, sacred beams twirl
with His grace easing my despair.
This blessed day chimes of mercy
as ray divine enchants eyes’ soul,
where I lift pure dedication
praising God’s light, my spirit whole!
