A Perfect Red Rose - Thomas Kinkade

 Where beauty
         meets passion
    the scarlet
of compassion
 the emblem
         of love
    of heart's greatest
emotion thereof
 God's trampled
        red rose
   a messenger of hope
 He chose
 sacrificed His child
         in a world
     sin beguiled
 thorns on His head
         the Rose
   of Sharon bled
 divine love seen
         His blood red
    washed us clean
 His child reborn
        no more stung
    by sin thorn
 my soul
        now glows
  inspired by
       the perfect
            red
     rose

Dear Joanna, I loved Kinkades paitings and have several prints. I think your poem is a beautiful reflection of divine love and sacrifice, the imagery so powerful. I just love the way you intertwine passion, compassion, and grace in every line which is simply moving. The perfect red rose, and the love that washes us clean. Truly inspiring! Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel
