A Past-Tense Message

Don't worry now about past tense,
It's gone, passe'~ no longer hence.
Forget all those words left unsaid,
moments still waiting, books unread.
The future will come, enticed or not
Enjoy the days time has brought.

Thanks, Andrea! I wish I could learn to not worry about things said or unsaid. I can't seem to let that one go. :)

It's so good to hear your happy, positive outlook after all the gloom and doom on TV. Been watching old sitcoms to get a few laughs. I SO hope we'll soon find "normal" again. Thanks for your comments :)

Love your positive message, Ann, as for me, I have quite a few 'books unread' that are calling me, but I will remember that the future will come - this is also very appropriate for the new year, happy 2022!

Thanks, Michelle. I've got books I want to read and books I don't want to read from trading with friends. I really appreciate your comments. I read some of your poems this morning I had missed. You are such an excellent poet! Oh, man ~ I hope 2022 is better. Things have just gotten so crazy and scary. Stay safe :)
