Notes About The Poem

A Passing Canoe

Light reflects Autumn's ink on smooth waters, an image stirred by a passing canoe. An image stirred by a passing canoe on smooth waters, Autumn's ink reflects light. Fall dabbles red pigment strewn all about, as Autumn arrives and Summer departs. As Autumn arrives and Summer departs, strewn all about red pigment dabbles Fall.

I see the reflection you’ve created here and also the imagery you’ve painted is so very beautiful and soulful. Canoes i love canoeing, and the picture you’ve used in this fits the theme of the poem so eloquently with autumnal imagery. Gorgeous! Pleasure reading this take. Congratulations on your well deserved win
