A Note and Dance

happy new year to one and all
'may it be filled with everything good

"a note and dance"

on this eve as the year sails with the wind
we have a promise to keep and hold eternally
for friendships and memories never to be lost

we'll say I love you with a note and dance
a whisper and tango shared between us two
the moment is right for our hearts to beat

reflections of the year surface with love
showcasing a tender silhouette sitting proud
more precious than a store purchased jewel

on this eve as the year sails with the wind
we'll whisper and tango in our usual fashion
we'll say I love you with a note and dance
