A Not So Soundless Night
Laying my head down
Closing my eyes
Darkness surrounds me
Another soundless night
Out of the blue
A thumping sound is heard
A flock of sheep imminent
Counting to ten
Or should it be twenty
It’s all so confusing
With my eyes out of focus
Counting can be tiring
Please tell them not to jump,
To not be so evasive
As my sleep seems to be
As morning dawns
So does my sleep,
I finally settle in
Alas, there goes my alarm…
