A New Day
A new day
And now
a start is near,
a new day
is dawning
And I feel
tremendous cheer
for I will recognize
the morning
of a better
day to be,
filled with joy
and harmony
This book
’s about to close
While a new one
is opening
I will dare
to turn a page,
read out loud
it’s lines and say:
“It’s a better
book for me,
filled with joy
and harmony”
