A Musing Politician On How Shall I Enter the Room
Hush, hush, proceedings are about to start.
How shall I enter the room.
Shall my expression be pensive, even contrite,
Or shall I be clouded with gloom.
Shall I shake hands (though mine are sweating)
May I turn sideways to avoid my nemesis?
Shall I thank the Chair and smooth my hair,
And start off with faux noble premises?
Will they believe me if I smile?
For my smile hides my laughing at them,
Can I fool them for another while?
Or shall I fake a worldly grin.
How shall I enter the room?
