A Musician, a Poet
If you can hear what I do
A someone who once written
When heard, I did not know who
A someone who gave me my moment
A piece written… unlike us
A piece to us… to mean music
Like words… I cannot ask
Like music… a musician will seek
If amidst the air… perhaps they float
Speaking to us all… if only we’ll listen
If we knew… to have a pen for a note
If we hear… need only that moment
A moment to change us all
A musician, a poet… a no one
My piece if not to recall
Or perhaps for another to come undone
I hear but hear not me
Music to only remain… music
When heard… I cannot be
For poetries… who will seek?
