A Mountain Frosted White

Mountain crest frosted in cold snowy white
Sparkling with countless facets of pyrite
basking in the golden glow of sunlight
With feathered wings, to the top I'd take flight
Summit's beauty is enhanced at twilight
Shadows frame the majesty of its height
As the sun bows low, my eyes glimpse the sight
of sheep scaling the mountain for the night
Rising from the ground, like a stalagmite,
stands this monolith mountain of graphite.
Infused with the radiance of starlight,
I pen the visions that bring me delight.
