A Missed Poem

Dreamer, free spirit intertwined
How can the soul not take flight
Quirky it matters not
Unafraid, breaking out
Upon the earth, and upon the wind
My imagination does run wild
To new heights I achieve
My heart sings out like a breath rippling
In the air, over the infinite sea
Unlocking my creative spirit, running free

Connie you've described my younger imagination perfectly. Though somehow I've managed to shackle her: I need to learn how to remove them. I'm glad I stumbled on to this :)
