A Midnight Kiss
A waits these lips
With a touch of bliss
Anticipation with
Expectation's of
Wonder
With lips old or new
thought’s created
This New Year coming
The old passes by
the new enters the mind
a bottle of champagne
With a kiss at midnight
2020 is disappearing
Leaving old memories
Creating new
Good or bad
All becomes new
The present
Has now passed
Opening new beginnings
Wrapped with a golden bow
Some die and some live
If you receive a kiss
at midnight
Then you have won
a new beginning
