A Memorable Dance

They sway to a waltz in each others arms
inhaling the scent of their partners charms
In passionate moves upon the dance floor
to gentle romantic musical score. 

‘Twas her first taste of an amorous dance
they had only just met by happen chance
She blushed crimson as their hearts beat as one
beneath the glitter ball her brown eyes shone.

The music faded as he kissed her hand
then softly whispered he thought she was grand
And said if she was to be here next week
he would be sweeping her right off her feet.

She was walking on air on the way home
reliving the dance in the moonlight roam
Sweet special moments in time to treasure
that will live on in her heart forever.
