A Lullaby - For Yul

Let us wean our bodies from the day Sleep, my darling child, sleep, I say Dream and let dreams carry cares away Sleep, my darling child, sleep, I say See how the sun too turns to its rest Sleep, my darling child, sleep, I say And moonlight rise to balm your breast Sleep, my darling child, sleep, I say Hear it in the songs of oceans far away Sleep, my darling child, sleep, I say My love is your pillow, sleep I pray Sleep, my darling child, sleep, I say And when your sleep is done, and dream No more around your cradle play I’ll be your faith where the portals gleam Sleep, my darling child, sleep, I say
