Oh, my gosh - is this dramatic and clever and a grin maker! Reminds me of a country song, well, more than one. This is utterly great, perfect, a head shaker and talk initiator of a poem, Paul. Love it. I think I'll pause my comments right here and dwell on this witty piece as I do my chores. All the best ... CayCay

The window of imagination is left wide open in this intriguing poem Paul. Left to my own devices, I can conjure up sinister or innocent scenarios about 'his imminent departure...' Everything about every line of your captivating poem is ingenious, my friend. Love your poem and the title! My 'powers of discernment' are at it again :)) An excellent enigma.. Warmest wishes always. ~Susan

Oooh, this sounds a bit ominous, a bit of Hercule Poirot? You take your reader on imaginative journey. His life in their hands. "To be or not to be"....That is the big question!....Maria :)

A very cryptic cool poem, Paul. Was his departure in transit among the living, or from the living to the dead? Thought provoking poetry. Love and smiles always.
