A Love Born On Valentines Day-- a Collaboration With Jimmy Anderson
A Love Born On Valentines Day-- a Collaboration With Jimmy Anderson
In the valley of love and mystery
She's thinking about her history
With lovers before he came along
But now she's woven him into song
This certain love she feels for him
Is deep and proud,it's not a whim
His love for her cannot be weighed
So strong and true,it can't be swayed
Two lovers in a great romance
A king and queen to lead the dance
Beside each other come what may
Their love was born on Valentines Day!
Cupids arrow flew, and hit a bulls-eye straight into my butt!
At first I was scared of you because of the butterflies in my gut
But I followed your radiating light, and you led me away
No longer do I fight, for love was born on Valentines Day!
Uncertain of the intense emotions inside, and yet I keep pressing on
Ride with me like Bonnie did Clyde, and you'll never be alone
Cupid finally got it right on the money;just never go MIA
I'm all about you honey, for love was born on Valentines Day!
I metamorphosed into a king, and I made you my enchanting queen
I'm determined to do anything, for my heart was ailing and you were the vaccine!
This love will be built upon an empire, and we'll fortify this loves gateway
I will try and be all you desire, for love was born on Valentines Day!!
**note: I wrote the first three stanzas and the very talented Jimmy wrote the last three
Happy Valentines Day everyone!!
