A Long-Cherished Wish
Start with a dream,
Then, give it life;
Finish the theme --
Hope colours strife!
Yes, hope is good
When fate plays tricks;
Calmly fix mood,
Eat with chopsticks!
Yes, that and this
Distractions surge;
What kind of bliss
Follows vain urge?
Yes, this story
Of ancient cares
Waits just for me
To pay my fare.
End with a tale
So far away
From stormy gales
Of the old days.
End when you end
With fate on-hold;
Just mind your trends
As plot unfolds!
End with a plot:
Unfinished yet;
Fate scatters lot
With futile bets.
So, now we see
This cherished wish
Fulfilled nicely
In broken dish!
Death brings release
From certainty
Of doubtful bliss;
Now, fate sets free!
Our blood ties show
A quilt patchwork,
A certain glow...
A lasting work.
