A Little Chill

Though the sun is warm There’s a little chill, But I’m here outside Soaking up my fill. There are lots of birds Chirping up a storm. They don’t think about If it’s cool or warm. Ants are crawling by And a bee buzzed past, Sending me a sign Summer’s coming fast. Since I hate the heat, Hope it’s not too soon And this weather lasts All the way through June.

so far so good we are having a dry spell, but its the TT races and I doubt we will get away with not having delays due to bad weather. I too wrote a weather poem today - great minds think alike! hugs Jan xx

Yeah! We've been having that 'little chill' in Chicago too for a week or so. Just gorgeous, almost Autumn-like... I hear it ends tomorrow though, at least here. Here comes HHHH - Hubert Horatio Heat & Humidity!

- I love warmth, Ilene ... but don't sit in the scorching sun ... it's still cold, rain and wind here ... my winter clothes haven't been packed away yet ... welcome dear summer ... I'm waiting :) - Lovely poem :) - hugs

A very comfortable read, Ilene. I'm still feeling the "chill" mostly at night when I have to get under a light blanket at some time or other.
