A Light in the Far East, A Messenger Blessed

On a tenth of May in eighteen eighty-six, A humble beginning where destiny mixed. In the heart of the isles, a spirit took flight, Brother Felix Manalo, a beacon of light. Through shadows of doubt and whispers of scorn, A divine calling, a new day was born. He sought the lost flock with unwavering hand, God's words he proclaimed throughout the land. From humble beginnings, a church took its form, Against tides of darkness, weathering every storm. A testament standing to faith and to grace, A chosen people finding their place. His voice a clear trumpet in these last days, Guiding believers through life's intricate maze. A Messenger sent with a truth to impart, Engraving God's precepts on every heart. One hundred and thirty-nine years have now flown, The seeds that he planted have gloriously grown. His legacy lives in each member's embrace, A testament shining to God's boundless grace. So let our voices rise on this special day, For the Messenger blessed who showed us the way. Ka Felix Manalo, his memory we hold, A story of faith in letters of gold. ©bfa051025
