A Lament Over a Sad Song
O sad song
I write about you with rivers of tears
Streaming down my cheeks
So blue is your melody
So low is your beat
So down is your rhythm
So touching are your words…
As I tune into you in this valley of tears
I hear the
The echoes of misled dreams
Rings of missed opportunities
Resonates of forlorn hopes
Rhythm of defeated aspirations
Beat of disappointed wishes and
Resounds of empty promises.
