A Journey

A decision, a choice
Words are strangled, cant find your voice
Both paths are dark with that eerie dank chill
No time to breathe, cant keep still.

A path littered, another broken shard
Taking a hold of fate, you never thought so hard
Watch your step dont land on it wrong
This distance has already taking this long

Think carefully quick, be nimble
Remember the right step isnt always simple
Sacrafice must be made to journey along
Hope must be saved to get where you belong

A choice once made even forced by fate's hand
Was one that in this life it helped you to stand
A decision to become exactly who you are
Is a journey worth traveling no matter how far

Each and every heart that you hear beat
Any given day thier choice they shall meet
Remember as they become who you are not
How it felt to be in that spot

Dont try to push or force your way in
They dont need someone to fight nor to defend.
Just stand up beside them and always be true
That spot, temporary for many but kept by few.
