Dearest Anaya, my soulful creative friend, I enjoyed both the light and dark sides of Christmas expressed in your set of limericks, capturing both the idealized romanticism and depressing not-so-sparkly realism of Christmastime, drawing a nostalgic and contemporary contrast. Indeed, you capture Christmas with vanilla sweetness and dark humor with poetic finesse. Warmest wishes to you, dearest Anaya, for a happy, healthy new year filled with lots of laughter, love and poetic inspiration.. Cheers! ~Susan

Hello Susan, glad you enjoyed the not so traditional limericks, all in fun of course. Not-so-sparky has made me smile, well said. Ty. Soon midnight shall be ushering in 2025. Happy New Year! Cheers, Susan!

Hi Anaya, a very interesting combination of limericks that compares the pluses and minuses of this holiday and life in general. There's a lot of wisdom here! I find the "Test My Drink Kit" reference amusing/disturbing and would hope we'd always be among people we could trust. But alas, we're not, so please be very careful. Sounds like you are and that's a good thing! Have a great and safe new year that combines the best of both worlds!!!

Hi Duke, I heard all about the kit from Dateline. There is such a kit! Although all in fun, not your traditional limericks and date rape is a serious issue. Glad you enjoyed the contrast. Ty. Soon midnight shall be ushering the new year, Happy New Year!

Ty Robert. I'd like to add your limerick "Christmas Cheer" to mine. Ty, it's sentimental yet humorous. Merry Christmas!
