A Japanese Autumn

Risshuu
The first leaf drops down
Leaving all the trees stripped bare
Modesty removed

Shukki
your Breath hangs in clouds
Word shaped clouds just float away
On the morning air

Shuushoku
Leaves are summers tears
Each one a golden goodbye
To summers passing

Aki no koe
The cracking of leaves
Rain falling on a tin roof
Wind rattling windows

Of these my favorite is Shuushoku. Autumn has always made me feel sad for the leaves that fall, and relating them to tears is a perfect description. Well done, Stephen.
