A Grateful Life
The pain I have is really bad
It is making me so sad
Knees legs arms and back
Every days a new attack
Some days it's more than I can stand
Wishing it would be so grand
To wake up free of this pain
But something inside my brain
Tells me to to think. And I do
It says there's others worse than you
Who struggle and fight to live
With diseases that can give
Them sickness they can't fight
Open your eyes. See the light
You are lucky to be here
Not to live each day in fear
That you won't wake up tomorrow
Leaving loved ones in dad sorrow
So be grateful your pain torture
Will still let you have a future
