A Good Day To Fly
In like a lamb out like lion The little diamond sail rides a March ide Some sayings true line upon line Almost as big as I now sparrow like in the sky ~ Some sayings long flowing tales Good day to fly a kite red skies in the morn Before the storm up goes the sales Bird like Rolling diving swooping airborne ~ Running to store buying some more string Lifting children's spirits how high would it climb Like stepping on a honey bee it stings When returning with the last of the bind ~ The tag along gone free flying descends The kite lost to be found another day Tangled in an electric line by the winds It was a good day to fly a kite I must say - To Carol Brown I may never win first in a contest but you where the first to let me in. Thanks Carol.
