A Glimmer of Hope

Tableau
The Tableau, a poetry form created by Emily Romano, consists of one or more verses, each having six lines. Each line should have five syllables. There is no set rhyme scheme, although rhyme may be present.

        

 

Trickling raindrops run down a pane of glass where a lantern's flame offers travelers a glimmer of hope on a stormy night. This flicker of light lures passing strangers ensuring shelter food and merriment awaits them within the warm embrace of this welcoming inn.
