A Glass For the Hour

As though we are sands through a glass for the hour When sands have run course, we then have no power To turn about play and begin a new run Likes sands through the glass, when it’s done, it is done And so, we must live watching those come before us Slip away, one by one, Like a song, sung in chorus To wonder the glass as so low runs the tide To see, like the sands, what awaits other side

Kept thinking of Sheldon (Shelley) Adelson, the owner of the Sands Hotel, who died last week at ate 87. I guess his number was up, eh?! You'd think a guy like that with a hotel named that would never run out of sand! lol. Happiness and Joy, Gershon

Love how you've compared life to a hourglass Mike, as the years roll by we get closer and closer to passing through the middle. Hope your weekend is going well. Tom
