A Future Now
Is it freedom from time,
or no time for freedom?
It's not in the tea leaves,
but in how you read them.
It's somewhat akin
to a child's telescope:
one end brings despair;
the other gives hope.
I'm drawn like a moth
to the eternal flame;
when this life's extinguished,
I'll rest on his name.
So, it's true when you read this,
it soon becomes past,
but a future now's coming,
and it's coming fast.
