A Full Moon Coming
A FULL MOON COMING
There is a full moon coming, I’m putting all my marbles in one bag
I’m staying put uncover and avoiding anyone waving their red flag
My larder fridge is full of goodies and the curtains are staying shut
So if anyone should come a knocking I can stay under my quilt put
Hand-held vacuum on the ready, I need it for those biscuit crumbs
Wet wipes, to clean up all the goo from all those tacky sticky buns
My torch on the ever-ready in case I see any shadows at the door
I am counting down the hours until that full moon shines no more
When all the local lunatics, are then safety tucked up in their beds
Then I can have some time off, sleeping safety in the land of zed’s
