A Desire For Purity
What indeed would it be like
to be pure from head to foot
having every part of me
clean with no forbidden fruit
To speak only words spotless
with a tongue white as snow
from a mind full of wisdom
oh if that was only so
What does it really take
to be absolute pure in heart
only God knows what's pure
for He made the original part
Scripture declares the pure in heart
privileged for God they will see
the heart only God has cleansed
that indeed is blessing for me
