A Desirable Sentiment
You are fully committed...resisting my strong feeling;
I'm glad to admit a desirable sentiment
burns inside...your deep looks attract
and charm me as moonlight beams shining
under the prettiest stars,
but holding you is as impossible as reaching
the distant planet Mars...
would I ever want this sort of thing?
Every place I go you seem to follow me,
and that excites me more: to kiss those lips warmer than light,
to hold those passionate hands that someone touches at night;
isn't jealousy a tormenting feeling consuming me?
Oh, beautiful one meant for someone else;
the only consolation for me
is to whisper words that
hide a desirable sentiment
I've tried to express in sentimental ways
without considering the impossibility.
