A December Memento

Such a present! I teared up and smiled. As exams in my briefcase I piled, a young girl handed me snowflakes cute as could be that she made--this sweet special-needs child. Excellent limerick meter and SO sweet. Though it's not a typically funny limerick, it's just wonderful. Congrats in my contest.

Andrea, thanks a million for sponsoring and for my win--a great Christmas gift! I still have those snowflakes! I was especially touched because I didn't even teach this child, and she made something just for me. Merry Christmas. Janice

Kids do that, they lift you up in the most unusual ways. Beautiful.

The actions of this girl--whom I did NOT teach--moved me deeply. I still have the snowflakes! Thanks so much, M. L. Janice
