A Collaborated Love
(Bold print by James Edward Lee Sr.)
Amber silents, daylight violets.
I look and see you there
in the garden; custom stares.
Love comes here!
Love is where there is caring faith;
Love’s committed grace.
And because I have had faith,
I’ve found you in this lovely place.
Oh, how glad I am to see
a chance we come together.
I want for us to be
writing this love letter, caressing rhymes;
Not just for now but for all times!
Dear, shall we write together “letters” and “words”;
To this, dear, you reply:
O love of love lets us write nigh.
And our words, like pretty birds, we will let fly
into the garden of our love.
Each word is precious like a dove.
Come write with me, calvary so lets elaborate.
With heart filled with happiness, I reply:
Shall we, yes we will collaborate. . .
Enjoying the garden of our love verse
is a beautiful fate.
