A Clear Sight

Night turning into day by a simple kiss A soft touch upon your lips of nonresistance The taste of lipstick a flavor unknown My tongue playing tag with yours Wandering fingers and roaming hands Buttons unsnapping air releasing with breath Intense feelings capturing our passion An unforgettably night of romance A simple knock at your door a rose in hand Dinner and a moonlit night with stars peeking through the clouds Light rain drops tapping upon our table One glass of wine and I knew you were mine Now, as I open my eyes a clear sight You are in my arms "This was for a contest, dummy me it was supose to be a rhyme lol"

It works incredibly well as free verse; I have done this myself in a variety of contests missing the one word that would have changed it (and possibly ruined it) - rhyme. This is as it was meant to be.
