A Childs Need

I am a grown woman Yet sometimes I don’t feel that way At times I still feel like that little girl Who just wants her mum here today The kindness and reassurance I felt as your child Compares to none You showed pure unconditional love How I miss that now my sweet mum You held my hand ,stroked my face Told me it would be ok You made me feel completely safe and secure My little girl fears faded away I miss the feel of your small soft hands Which held mine so lovingly That little girl still needs her mum A yearning that will always be….
