A Cake and a Candle
T-he early Monday morn
I-s breaking by dawn;
T-wilight and dark dusk
A-re both already gone.
M-ist and haze sixth February
A-re nowhere in sight;
G-ray clouds become white,
P-ouring rain fades into the night.
A-nother sweet delight
Y-ou hold or handle;
O-pen both your eyes to a cake and a candle.
