A Bouquet for the Coffin

Plentiful and preposterous piles Pennies and notes across miles. One mindset turned so hostile The mansion deserted for a while. A drop of "spice" on his tongue Misunderstood and spread among. His last words were then sung As the red tape was then strung. Another man to leave a mess Left unable to wear the dress. Everything for her to possess But forever trapped inside distress. After her face lit like a cigar The door was never caught ajar. With a crazy, everlasting scar She soon reached to her own star. Based off of: 'A Rose for Emily' Author: William Faulkner
