Friendships Sometimes Start With Conflicts And Opposition.
~Vickie Thayer~
I Somehow Made Friends With My Enemy,
The One Who Always Pestered Me,
Feverishly Competing For My Sweet Honey,
I Would Never Give In For Love Nor Money.
But He Buzzed Around My Head One Day,
Asking If There He Could Rest Away,
Only To Observe As I Indulged,
My Belly From The Honey Began To Bulge.
Me, Friends With The Bee?
After All My Fondness For Honey Was Because Of He,
Making All We Could Ever Spoil,
So There Was No Reason For Us To Quarrel.
I Then Admitted To That Annoying Bee,
Without Him I Would Never Have Sweet Honey,
So Now He Rests Upon My Head,
I'm Stung With Sweet Friendship As I Am Fed.
