A Battle Song Plays On
In a treasure chest diamond facet fire opal dawn
Holding fast
Breathless gasps
Moments quickly gone
A sailor's dream
But how it seems
Will he make it home
Bruised and battered
Thoughts a tatter
Silhouetted song
Ingrained of pain
His thoughts insane
His love
O' how he longs
Of days and nights
The bitter fear
A battle song plays on
